Watch out! Harry Potter and being possessed…

November 22, 2010 Leave a comment

Seriously?  It’s good to see Father Eut-a-what’s-his-name getting to the heart of the matter.  Demon possession…lol.

“Harry Potter and these Twilight vampires glamorize the power of evil,” Father Eutenener explained, “and this has lead to many, many cases of possession among young people.” It may begin with a child or teenager simply “playing around” with the occult, but that seemingly harmless act is “opening a window” to possession.”

Hitting a Home Run for Palazzo

Cody Ross, one of the heroes of the World Champion San Francisco Giants, was dining last night at a famous SF restaurant with a wine friend.  It turns out that Cody and his wife are HUGE  fans of the Right Bank in Bordeaux!  Even better, Cody was drinking Palazzo Napa Valley Red 2006 and was completely enthralled!  Blown away!  Of course, Palazzo kind of resembles the right bank, in that it is a Merlot based blend…with Cab Sauv and Cab Franc.  Cool climate Carneros.  mmm mmm yummy.   So, to all you suckers who were lemming-ing [yikes] off the Merlot-cliff, come back home…we’ve missed you.

What Wines Pair with a Hot Dog? Episode #944

November 4, 2010 Leave a comment

Hot Dogs?  Well, charcoal or gas grill?  cause if it’s charcoal, there’s the smoky element that totally rocks…condiments?  mustard throws this a whole different direction.  I’m going the juicy route…grenache, stainless steel…how about you?

Heck.  Just do beer.  Southern Tier 2x.
